Item Description
Vintage 9-7/8x10.5" frame contains celluloid sheet that has been matted to 5x6". 1-5/8x3.25" cel image depicts stork in flight w/blanket containing baby in its beak. From the 1941 Disney animated film. Original provided painted bkg. along w/"Harlow, Keppel & Co. Inc." label on back noting "This Is An Original Painting On Celluloid, Actually Used In The Walt Disney Production Of Dumbo, The Circus Elephant." Label has hand-numbered "56" noting there were only 56 available in series. Celluloid sheet has slight warp but cel image remains intact. Slight spot of aging to bkg. behind bundle but still displays VF. Frame has moderate aging/wear and is VG. Nice piece, ready for display.
