Item Description
Two 8.25x8.75" sheets of animation paper stapled w/top sheet serving as mat, image area measures 5.5x7" and featuring abstract patterns in pastel. Art was for the "Toccata And Fugue In D Minor" segment of the 1940 animated musical feature. Sequence featured animated lines, shapes and cloud formations that reflected the sound and rhythms of the music. Sheet w/art has "Concert Feature" stamp on reverse noting this art is for sequence number 3, sketch 871 and is dated Oct. 2. This also notes artist as "Majors" and piece has been signed "Majors" at corner. Sheets have pinholes at corners and top sheet is aged, but art remains Exc.
