Lot of 50 10x12" sheets of animation paper, each w/lead/colored pencil drawings from 1937 Mickey Mouse cartoon that starred Mickey, Donald Duck and Goofy as the Ajax Ghost Exterminators who were hired to exterminate four ghosts from a haunted house that has long been abandoned. Unbeknownst to them, they were hired by the ghosts themselves, who are bored because nobody has visited the house they had long been haunting. They wish to play tricks on the living, and do so through a series of inventive, annoying pranks. Lot consists of a set of 38 consecutively-numbered sheets, numbered "1B" through "38B" depicting Mickey Mouse running around in terror. Almost all sheets feature full body image of Mickey, a few showing him as a blur as he runs. First sheet has moderate aging and some margin wear but art remains clean and Exc. Rest are VF-Exc. overall. Remaining production drawings features the Ghosts and are numbered 3-4, 7-8, 12-13, 16, 19, 27, 36, 38, 50. First two sheets feature one Ghost running, third has second Ghost popping his head into frame, next frame feature both Ghosts, next four sheets feature three full body Ghosts and last four feature full body images of all four Ghosts. Art is primarily done in lead pencil w/additional colored pencil accents. Sheets have scattered handling wear and are lightly aged. All art remains clean and displays Exc. Extensive group.
