Item Description
Large 7x12x4.5" deep box contains complete amount of 60 sealed 5¢ paper bags each 3.5x6". Box and bags feature Cowboy images. Back of each bag has four different tattoos of western themes. Box text reads "4 Surprises In Every Bag/Toys-Games And A Sweet Treat." 1960s by L. M. Becker & Co. of Appleton, WI. Box actually contains one extra bag (in addition to the 60 indicated on the lid) and this has been opened to see what type of contents are included. This bag has plastic steer head ring, cow figure, gum ball and a 2.25x3.5" trading card. One of these cards is included in every bag and they feature cowboy and Indian images that were meant to be cut and folded to turn them into a stand-up. The cards are numbered and have Becker Co. copyright. This card series is cataloged as ACC# R780-6, with 25 different in the set. The card from the opened bag is #4 "An Apache Scout." Box wear includes creases on front flap and side panels. Pair of 1" tears on front side edges. VG. Bags have some aging as boxed but are basically NM as issued. An exceptional full display box featuring a scarce card issue.
