Item Description
11-1/8x13-5/8" frame contains 8.5x11" Aqua-oil painting on textured paper that has been mounted on a board. Painted by Mark Arminski c. 2011, painting shows a sideshow/circus contortionist performer leaning against a large skull. Arminksi saw a vintage photo of the man depicted here and was taken w/his unusually long fingers and decided to paint him as part of a series of paintings he created that feature sideshow performers and freaks. The photo this painting is based on originally had the man leaning against a ladder. Arminski decided to replace it w/a large skull. Exc. Wonderful image. From the Mark Arminski Archives and comes with a COA specially designed, signed and remarqued by him.
