Item Description
10.75x13.25" frame contains 8.5x11" Aqua-oil painting on muslin that has been mounted on a board. Painted by Mark Arminski c. 2011, painting shows a demonic-looking clown. Arminksi based this image off of a vintage German-made clown toy he once saw, its sinister appearance making a lasting impression on the artist. Muslin has slight ripples as painted and applied to board. This was done on purpose as Arminski has painted murals in his past and likes to experiment w/painting on various surfaces. He felt the ripple surface helped give a sideshow banner feel to the painting as it was done as part of a series of paintings he created that feature sideshow performers and freaks. Arminski has signed his name at lower right. Exc. Wonderful image. From the Mark Arminski Archives and comes with a COA specially designed, signed and remarqued by him.
