4.5" tall chrome-plated solid cast metal mounted on top of cut marble oval w/recessed area at front for holding pens. Attached w/original hardware on underside. Hood ornament was produced in 1934 by and marked "Desmo" who also produced a larger and equally rare Mickey and Minnie Mouse hood ornament. Superb and expressive pose of Mickey Mouse w/hands on hips, wide open mouth, feet spread and tail curled to the side. Moderate trace of pitting and some luster wear but much luster remains and hood ornament remains bright and Fine. Makes for a great display.
