Item Description
13x13x2.5" deep illustrated cardboard window box contains complete and apparently unused battery-operated "Space Age Gun For The Space Age" by The Ohio Art Co. 1960s. Box contains 9.5" long hard plastic gun w/raised "Astro Ray" name on side w/raised atomic symbol. Gun features great futuristic design and features working flashlight feature and also shoots six included rubber-tipped safety darts. Set also includes 13" dia. tin litho "Astro Ray" space target w/labeled planets. As stated, set appears as unused, old store stock. Exc. overall. Box features illustration of boy in spacesuit using gun w/"Friendship 7 - Aurora 7" rocket blasting off. Box lid shows heavy and obvious wear w/moisture staining along one side panel, tape repairs to three corners (one is still split), .75x2" piece missing along bottom of one corner and window is partially loose w/.75" split. Just Good, but main lid panel remains nice for display. Scarce as boxed.
