Item Description
27x29” vintage wood frame w/engraved brass plate at bottom w/text “Presented By Range Romances Magazine” has 24x26” acrylic painting on canvas. Dramatic scene has tied up cowboy being handed a gun by pretty brunette holding knife w/both facing villain who is holding a gun and lighting a cigarette. Artists initials at lower right “J.C.G.” Reverse stretcher board has pencil text “First May 1943 Range Romances.” Back of canvas has pencil reduction note “7-1/8” for printing purposes. Margin edges of painting have slight wear as framed, image area has lt. aging, otherwise Near Exc. Well done.
