4x8x2.5" deep illustrated cardboard box w/hinged lid and metal belt hook on back for hanging contains complete set manufactured by Vintage Products Co. ©1951 Rockhill Productions. Set includes two handheld 2.75x3.75" rocket-shaped "phones" which were attached to large coil of double wire and used in a walkie talkie-like fashion. Set comes w/folded (as issued) "Official Individual Electronic Instrument Card" w/checklist and illustrated instruction booklet. These two items have some scattered age spots/handling wear and are Fine overall. Box (w/original packing material) is nicely illustrated and designed to be hung on child's belt. Nicely illlustrated w/"Space Cadet" images and space imagery. Scattered aging/wear, but lines provided for child to write name remain unused. Fine. Rest of set appears unused with lt. wear and some slight oxidation to metal discs in interior of "phones." Illustrated instruction stickers on each "phone" remains complete. VF overall. Very rare, we've only offered a couple of these sets in our 47 years.
