7.25x23” thin art board has 6x19-5/8” India ink image area for May 7 w/Daddy Warbucks confronting plane bomber held by police in all three panels. Bomber tells Warbucks “You Dirty Capitalist! I Tell You Nothing!” and says he’ll use “Fifth Amendment…It Is Legal.” Warbucks answers “Safe As A Rat In A Hole, Eh? It Figures.” Signed by creator “Harold Gray” in panel three, complete w/News Syndicate copyright strip in panel one. Extreme blank margin edges are tanned from previous framing, portion of hand lettered text in panel three is a neatly applied correction. Image area Exc. Well drawn example.
