Item Description
Each art board is 5.5x16.5” w/4.75x16” India ink image area. 1957 dates are 7-26 and 7-27. 1962 dates are: 12-25,12-28 and 12-31. 1963 dates are: 1-17, 1-28, 2-13, 2-19, 2-21, 3-2, 3-16, 3-21, 4-23, 4-25, 5-16, 5-18, 5-20, 5-21 and 5-22. Most have four panels, and all are signed in ink “Blosser” in last panel. March 21, 1963 has archival mat and last panel has ink inscription “To My Good Friend Lloyd Hutchinson With Best Wishes For Much Success- Blosser”. All have NEA © strip. All are Exc. Well drawn examples of this teen-age character strip which ran for over 50 years, 1915-1971. Art was given to fellow cartoonist Sam Lloyd Hutchinson, noted for creating Parky the Kangaroo.
