Item Description
Lot of 17, each typically 4x5" w/a few smaller and a few larger. All are World War II era. Included are five anti-Axis themed cards featuring caricature images of Tojo in the grips of a Bald Eagle; a "In Disgusting Memory Of 'Adolf' (And His Gang)" card featuring caricature portraits of Hitler, Mussolini and Tojo; one reading "So Long Big Shots!" featuring cartoon images of all three being shot out of large guns; one showing all three using "Crying Towel" w/Uncle Sam running them through clothing wringer; and one w/soldier carrying tiny versions of all three on his bayonet, asking "Where's The Garbage Can?" This card has separate, smaller card attached at top corner w/string. Unused and Exc. Rest feature homefront greeting cards to be sent to servicemen. These included birthday wishes, well wishes, etc. Five have been used, w/one having back covered w/note from sweetheart. VF. Rest are unused and Exc. Nice assortment.
