Heavy brass and enamel badge with reverse bar suspending ribbon bringing the piece to 5.25" tall. The ribbon colors, mostly the blue stripe, have faded but this is only rather obvious if the suspended medallion with Lincoln's profile is lifted. Just below the edge of medallion the white stripe has just a little thread separation but exceedingly minor and barely showing. Tiny bit of tarnish on top of one of the eagle's wing tips but overall the brass and enamel areas remain Exc. Limited issue. Don & Mildred Wright Collection.
