Item Description
8.5x11" stiff cardboard holds group as assembled by the collector. Top to bottom group includes "Ike" bracelet and "I Like Ike" enamel pin. This has about a dozen tiny tan dots on it. Next is a blue and clear rhinestone circle pin with elephant at center. Next is "I Like Ike" elephant head pin with chain ending in "52" date. Next is fabric "Ike" pin made in India. Next is rare color "Ike" tie tack. Next is Ike with Capitol dome pin. Next is bracelet with domed blue glass suspension each side having the figure of an elephant all in Mint brass luster. Next is key chain holding laminated card as issued "Pennsylvania For Ike." Below that are two sets of "Ike" cufflinks and at lower right is screwdriver device with elephant cartoon head on back and front with text "Ike & Nixon '52'/Sites And Sounds Of The 50s/Treadway-Lancaster." We assume this is from 1952 although small chance it could be some kind of commemorative piece. The collection concludes with the vertical panels at the left. At far left are six tie tacks while at bottom is a handmade ceramic "I Like Ike" elephant pin and to the right are five metal Ike pins. One of these, next to the bottom, is missing a single rhinestone. Other pieces except as noted are essentially Mint. Numerous rarities. Julie Powell Collection.
