Item Description
Sizes are 1" to 3". 28 of the items are buttons with the four non-buttons in the bottom row of our first photo. The first of these is a heavy brass luster tie bar with high relief realistic peanut shell design front center. Next is a rolled 1976 penny showing "Democrat" donkey with the names "Carter/Mondale." Third is a "UAW" litho tab and fourth is a figural plastic peanut whistle with key chain and circular green plastic piece at the top, perhaps meant to represent a hat, reading "Carter/Mondale." In the top row of the first photo is the "I Work For (peanuts)" scarce rebus button typically in the $50 range. This is followed by four jugates and ten additional buttons many with Carter photos. In the second photo specific places include "Western New Yorkers", Kansas, a quadgate coattail from Iowa, and a Virginia button. Among the final nine items are four coattails and four buttons with names of various states plus a large Florida tab. Only the last button in this photo has a little light spotting on the white background. Other items are Exc. to Mint. Julie Powell Collection.
