Original illustrated thin cardboard box w/"It's Fun To Save With Your Favorite Candy Tootsie Rolls In A Candy Bank" text w/clown's hand reaching for Tootsie Roll. United Specialties Inc. Burbank, CA c. 1950s. Bank was filled w/Tootsie Rolls by removing back of bank and filling and when coin was inserted, bank acted like a vending machine, w/candy dropping out. Complete w/12 Tootsie Rolls that came w/bank. Some are a bit sticky w/age, but all have been placed in plastic bag and do not affect box or bank. Box has some scattered aging but is o/w bright and Exc. 8.25" tall bank w/thin plastic windows appears unused. NM, old store stock.
