Item Description
9x11” archival mat has 4.5x6.5” opening. c. 1940s fountain pen original art on Anderson’s personal stationary has mute comic strip Henry looking at mule who is saying “Yep! I’m From Missouri!” Sheet has lt. handling creases, image area otherwise Fine. Funny example, possibly one of the last specialty pieces ever done by Anderson (1865-1948). Art was specially done for fellow cartoonist Sam Lloyd Hutchinson, noted for creating Parky the Kangaroo.
