12x29.75” archival mat has 7-3/8x24.75” opening. India ink image area has two panels dated “9-2” w/Little Beaver and Patchy following Red’s boot tracks and finding him w/gun drawn on mountain lion in tree. Second panel is signed in ink by artist-creator “Fred Harman”, complete w/NEA copyright strip. Blank bottom margin has nice ink inscription “To A Fellow Cartoonist- Lloyd Hutchinson- Sincerely Fred Harman”. Art board has lt. vertical fold through blank center, image area otherwise Exc. Impressive size and a well drawn example. Recipient Sam Lloyd Hutchinson is noted for creating Parky the Kangaroo.
