Item Description
Pair of items both relating to two different 1950s Ted Williams model baseball bats. First is 34" long Louisville Slugger model 40S by Hillerich & Bradsby Co. This is "Oil Tempered" and "Special Ted Williams Louisville Slugger" edition and bears the famous Red Sox player's facsimile signature. Knob has stamped "34"" size mark and tip has moderate wear, likely as stored as rest of bat appears unused. VF. Comes w/17.5x23" illustrated poster that came w/purchase of different model baseball bat - the Louisville Slugger model 125 by Hillerich & Bradsby Co. which was "Powerized" and bat image is marked "Special Ted Williams Louisville Slugger" though poster doesn't mention Williams anywhere else. Poster shows noticeable wear as sold w/bat, w/heavy rippling and scattered aging/dust soiling. VG.
