Item Description
First is a German badge 3-1/8" tall with cloth covered metal hanger and loop suspending white metal cross which has makers stamp on back and most letters of a word that appears to equate to Munich. Front text within a heart symbol is in German translating roughly to "Dear Golden Heart Munich, How Can Further Pain Be Alleviated." Next is a miniature three dimensional helmet with Prussian eagle on the front and small brass spike on the top. Back has small brass ring for suspension. Next are three different embossed tin stickpins each showing the same flower but with different designs and with one reading "1914-1916." Next are ten oval porcelain pieces on a stickpin. First three are identical except for their colors and they are dated "1914-1916." Each shows a wounded soldier at the left with a woman and child at the right. Next are three pieces with the same dates but with the Angel Of Grief standing over a mourning woman with a small child. These are colored in three different tones. Next four show soldier on crutches. Each again has the same dates and of the four pieces they are done in two different colors with two duplicates. Some luster off two of the tin pieces but otherwise pretty much Mint as made.
