Item Description
Shrink wrapped archival mats have thin art board sheets w/original pen and ink comic strip art by "Bazooka Joe" creator Wesley Morse (also known for his Tijuana Bible/8-pager art) done for bubble gum insert comics. Strips have title block stats, rest is original art. One is dated 1960, another 1962. Two are “Dollar Size”. Includes Joe & Mort getting ready for plane ride, Joe talking to Pesty and Pat about picture from space. Third original has 4.5” wide image area w/Pesty telling woman why he can’t go fishing. Art and text on first two have original paste-ups w/some white-out, image areas otherwise Fine/VF. Well drawn and funny.
