Item Description
9.5x12" sheet of animation paper has image area measuring 3.75x5.75". Depicted is near full body image of Hades, his hand extended and an evil grin upon his face. Based on the Greek myth of Persephone and done primarily in lead pencil w/additional colored pencil accents. Drawing #41 as marked at lower right. From 1934 Silly Symphony, the first time Disney animators attempted to depict realistic humans. Sheet has some lt. handling wear/aging w/tiny chip out of left margin, but art remains Exc. Comes w/removed "Good Housekeeping" page featuring their adaptation of this classic Silly Symphony.
