Item Description
This is a quite scarce 1947 Cheerios premium in close to complete condition. Group consists of 4x4.25" mailing envelope, open on one end and with crease but clean. Inside is folded stiff cardboard which protected the silver bullet in transit. This cardboard tells how to use the two tablets that came with the item to write secret messages. This cardboard is a little tanned and with small creases. The bullet itself is 1.25" tall. It was once flashed in silver but about 97% of that is gone so it's really a glossy brass color. The end of the bullet comes off so the interior can be used as a secret compartment. On the underside of the removable top is what is described as "A Small Escape Compass." There is also a Secret Invisible Ink Tablet. That tablet is here but a second smaller tablet meant to be dissolved and used to make the message appear is not present. Also present is a tiny silver ring which is describes as the "Special Keep-Safe Eyelet" which goes through the edge of the removable piece with the concept being that a pin could then be used to wear the bullet. Complete except for the one ink tablet. Fine and scarce.
