From same set as #881. Glossy photo front with text below portrait "Duncan Base Ball." Image is very bold and strong. Duncan was a star of the Negro Leagues, primarily as a catcher for the Kansas City Monarchs helping the team win five pennants between 1923 and 1931 including the 1924 Negro League World Series. Other teams he played for included the Chicago Giants, Pittsburgh Crawfords and New York Cubans. Designated by SGC as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA.
