Item Description
10.5x22.25" high quality silk-screened limited edition poster created as a piece of merchandise for Patti Smith. Poster has May 13, 2000 date and lists the Riviera Night Club. "Godmother Of Punk" Patti Smith has top-billing w/special guests Lenny Kaye, Oliver Ray, Tony Shanahan and Jay Dee Daugherty also listed. Poster features stylized photo image of Ho Chi Minh against American stars bkg. by Mark Arminski, whose distinctive signature appears at bottom in blue felt tip pen. Smith herself has boldly signed poster in black felt tip pen above the "One More Revolution - One More Turn Of The Wheel" lyrics from her song "Gung Ho." Inscription reads "To Mark - In The Spirit Of Gun Ho We've Worked Together." Top left has triangular "Patti Smith Gung Ho" sticker and upper right has adhered fabric backstage pass for the show w/typed "Patti Smith" name and date. Minor corner tip wear but Exc. overall. From the Mark Arminski Archives and comes with a COA specially designed, signed and remarqued by him.
