Waite Hoyt played for six different MLB teams spanning a twenty year career and won seven American League pennants with the Yankees and A's as well as three World Series championships with the Yankees. He was inducted into the National Baseball HOF in 1969 and had a long and brilliant career post-baseball as a broadcaster.
