Item Description
Pair of concert posters, both featuring art by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley. First is FD-28 third printing, measuring 13-7/8x20" for Sept. 30-Oct. 1, 1966 concerts that took place at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, CA. featuring Quicksilver Messenger Service and The 13th Floor Elevators. "Zebra Man" figure at center was created by shining light on man's face through Venetian blinds. Second is FD-35 first printing, measuring 13.75x19-15/16" for Nov. 18-19, 1966 concerts that also took place at the Avalon Ballroom. Concerts featured Quicksilver Messenger Service, Daily Flash and Country Joe and The Fish. Poster art features patriotic design w/early hot air balloon image. Posters have some lt. aging and trace of corner tip wear. VF/Exc. overall. From the Mark Arminski Archives and comes with a COA specially designed, signed and remarqued by him.
