Poster features amazingly detailed art image by French artist Jean Mascii depicting star Charlton Heston at front on leash being manhandled by two gorilla soldier/guards. Scenes in bkg. show Heston running w/gun as apes scramble about, surreal ape village architecture and planet is also seen in bkg. Poster has been folded as issued and has lt. margin wear w/some creasing at corners and two .5" tears at bottom, at center and right of center. Poster remains extremely bright and bold, its graphics far outweighing that of any American release poster. If framed, poster would display VF.
