Wonderful nighttime image of storefront w/illuminated view of elaborate display promoting "Congoleum Rugs" and their promotion featuring Disney characters. Store sign reads "Harold's 1911-1934" and references 23rd Anniversary Sale. In total there are 16 different display pieces featuring Disney characters. This includes five Old King Cole displays, one large and two small Mickey Mouse displays, plus a large and small Minnie Mouse display (although large Minnie mostly obscured by post). The other cardboard displays are of various shapes/sizes and all relate to Congoleum; one sign seen at center is also being offered this auction, see item #2011. Characters featured include Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Big Bad Wolf and Three Little Pigs. We have offered a couple of these displays in the past, but most we have never seen/offered in our 47 years. Also in the center of the display is an actual Ford car which was one of five offered in the promotion. Hanging/rolled rugs on display in bkg.
