Item Description
Lot of four 4-3/8" tall glazed ceramic handled mugs and 12-7/8" tall glazed ceramic open top stein. Mugs feature two different designs (two of each) on sides; a musician w/stringed instrument and pipe-smoking gambler w/lidded beer stein. Inside bases of mugs each have "Heurich" name logo. Stein features repeated gambler design. c. 1900 and issued for the Christian Heurich Brewing Company, a Washington, DC brewery founded in 1872. Heurich closed in 1956. One musician mug has two .5" flakes off rim w/hairlines and smaller 1/8" chip on side. Good/VG. Rest of mugs show lt. aging/wear and are Fine/VF. Stein has 3.5" hairline on side w/gambler image and shows wear to base color. VG/Fine.
