Item Description
Pair of 11x16-3/8" (trimmed) and 11x17" Marvel Comics thin artboards. First has had top trimmed, but this does not affect art. For issue #83, published Feb. 1989. Page features seven panels w/original pen and ink art w/original blue pencil preliminary art visible underneath. For "Road Pig" story written by Larry Hama w/art by Ron Wagner and inks by Fred Fredericks, who has signed at bottom in black felt tip pen. Art features jailbreak scene w/Dreadnoks Road Pig and Zarana. Road Pig is seen in five panels (including one of him wielding his cinder block weapon) and Zarana is in four. Marvel copyright stamp on reverse. While artboard has been trimmed, art remains Exc. Second sheet is for page 17 of issue #110, published March, 1991. Page features four panels w/original pen and ink art for "Escalator To Armageddon" story written by Larry Hama w/art by Ron Garney and inks by Fred Fredericks, who has signed at bottom in black felt tip pen. Art features GI Joe team taking on and destroying Cobra HISS tank, on which S.A.W. Viper rides. "G.I. Joe" title stamped at top along w/handwritten issue/page numbers. Exc.
