Item Description
4x6x5-3/8" tall hinged-lid tin litho container used to store cigars, complete w/holed feature on underside to let air in. The Roby Cigar Co. of Barnesville, OH. 1920s. This is dark blue version and front/back side features great litho depicting man and woman on horseback w/sunset behind them. Sides have cigar/company name w/additional note that cigars were to be sold for 5¢ a piece. Underside of hinged-lid features repeat illustration from front/back. Lid has 2" long scratch w/some smaller 3/8" scratches at edge of lid. Tin has some scattered general handling wear/aging and is Fine overall.
