Item numbers 1 through 1062 in auction 213
Item Description
8x11.5x7.25" tall tin litho container designed to hold 48 packages of tobacco by Jno. J. Bagley & Co. that were sold for 5¢ a piece. Early 1900s. Tin features great images of male and female Ruffed Grouse on front/back side panels w/large pricing text on left/right side panels. Tin has had major restoration, w/entire bottom panel likely replaced and thin board support added. Additionally, left side panel has had extensive fill added along bottom edge as has front side panel at bottom right. Lid/top has obvious aging w/trace oxidation and minor indent to lid. Good/VG as is, but would display Fine.
