Pair of boxed battery-operated toys made in Taiwan, 1970s. First is 11.75" tall tin litho robot w/plastic arms/feet made by S.J.M. Box has great graphics depicting space battle w/robot, rocketship, flying saucers, etc. Box is complete w/both cardboard inserts and has scattered edge/corner wear but remains tight and free of splits. Fine/VF. Toy works w/"Stop N' Go - Swing Open Door - Blinking And Shooting Gun - Realistic Shooting Noise - Rotating Body" functions. NM, old store stock. Second is cardboard box w/illustrated lid that contains tin litho and plastic toy made by Day-Fran. Box has some handling wear to lid but is Fine overall. Toy depicts futuristic space train. Astronaut is seated behind elaborate computer equipment. On sides are simulated windows w/images of children and animals in spacesuits. Toy travels around w/non-stop action as it produces a loud "Space Noise." Front panel section rotates and flashes red/green. Back section w/tail fins also rotates. Lt. wear to plastic dome on top. Works. Displays Exc. Nice pair of 1970s battery-operated toys featuring great designs.
