Item Description
Group begins with 4.75” long 1/20/49 inaugural ticket stub with jugate on one side. Light vertical crease. Clean. Next is the 8.5 x 11 Official program with 72 pages. Small line of red color loss on top margin but all else is excellent. Next four items came in Congress of the United States envelope with serial #2513. Envelope is here but has a stain. Items are excellent and include 6.5x10 invitation folder, matching Truman and Barkley photo prints, and bit smaller stiff 6x8” card with Truman steel engraving by Bureau of Engraving And Printing. Next are 5 First Day of Issue stamp items. First is 1950 Washington Sesquicentennial showing Truman & Barkley, next 2 are 1973 showing Birthplace and Library, next are 3 plate blocks with 12 total stamps, next is 5x7.5 First Day of Issue card with Truman’s 1984 birth centennial stamp plus another on an envelope. First day and stamp items are Mint.
