Item Description
Double-sided 18.25x20" shield-shaped sign w/large "Barber Shop" text and classic striped barber pole motif. c. 1905-1915. Sign appears to have been shot (most likey w/a BB gun), resulting in four spots of enamel loss on both sides of sign in corresponding areas ranging from 1/8" to 1". Edges have scattered wear w/enamel loss and some oxidation/rust. This is most evident along bottom edge and at top by hanging holes as well as 3" area at left center on one side. Scattered aging. VG overall, but still nice for display.
