Item Description
Original cardboard mailer (w/label promoting display for the 1929 inauguration of Herbert Hoover) contains large and impressive die-cut cardboard standee display that measures 36x43.75". This three-dimensional display has wonderful central image of the Washington Monument towering over rest of display that reads "The Nation's Choice - Edison Mazda Lamps" w/image of lightbulb and "Buy A Carton Today" text w/image of lightbulb carton. Text along bottom of display reads "First In The Homes Of Our Countrymen." Washington Monument itself is folded paper and is three-dimensional when fully assembled. Display has some corner tip/edge wear and a few small scattered age spots. Fine/VF overall. Mailer shows obvious wear w/heavy moisture staining and only partial label and just comes along. Scarce display.
