Item Description
Vintage 8x10" sepia tone photo w/"Strauss-Peyton" studio mark at lower left shows great portrait image of Mary Pickford (1892-1979), a Hollywood legend integral in the development of the Hollywood movie business. Pickford was a co-founder of the United Artists film studio and one of the original 36 founders of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Strauss-Peyton Studio stamp on reverse. 1920s. Photo features wonderful image of Pickford, who has signed in blue ink "To E.O. Halley - Sincerely, Mary Pickford." Photo has some aging and lt. margin wear, but none too distracting. Displays VF.
