Large and impressive 26" long painted pressed steel riding toy w/hard rubber wheels by Buddy "L" company, 1930s. Truck cab has "International" decal on sides and "Buddy L" decals on doors. Hood is missing original handle used to control steering of front wheels. Sides have large and colorful decals depicting large packs of "Wrigley's Spearmint - The Perfect Gum" packs outside of row of houses w/additional text reading "Aid Teeth - Breath - Digestion...Millions Do." Below these decals are "Railway Express Agency" decal and smaller "Railway Express Agency" logo decals. Back of truck has opening doors w/repeated "Railway Express Agency" logo decals. Decals are nearly all complete and display Exc. Top of truck features removable seat panel, which shows obvious wear from use w/long scratches. Rest of truck has some scattered paint wear in the form of small nicks/scratches. Fine overall. A nice example of a scarce decal variety of this riding toy.
