Item Description
Thin art board has 5.25x19-3/8” India ink image area w/four panels for Aug. 6. Killer is complaining about his greasy drill bit. Beetle tells him Cookie is washing it off and asks Zero to see if “Cookie Has Washed Off A Bit For Us”. Zero looks at Cookie, and tells Beetle “Nope! He’s Every Bit As Filthy As He Always Is!” Signed in ink by creator “Mort Walker” in panel two and personally signed in ink to friend on bottom margin. Complete w/ King Features Syndicate copyright sticker. Applied zip-a-tone dot pattern used for shading is missing in some areas and is yellowed w/age, art board is scored in center as mailed by artist. Image area overall Fine/VF. Funny early example of strip which began in 1950.
