The six paper patches remain in original paper bags and include - Yankees, Dodgers, Tigers, Pirates, Giants, Braves and Cubs. All are Exc. From 1950s promotion. Comes w/two paper store signs. First is 20x30" sign advertising "Hood Goodie Grab Bags" of frozen novelties. Series of six patches are shown at top and were offered as free premiums. Patches shown include Red Sox, Yankees, Dodgers, Giants, Phillies and Indians. Sign has some handling wear w/slight rippling and lower left margin has 2" to 3" wide streak of faint moisture staining. Still displays VF overall. Second sign measures 18.5x24" and shows boy wearing baseball cap (w/Cubs patch on side) holding Braves patch in hand. Other patches shown match the actual examples offered in this lot and include Giants, Yankees, Dodgers, Tigers and Pirates. Patches were free premiums that came in bags of Washington Winesap apples as the "Washington Apple Special." Minor corner tip wear but Exc. overall.
