11x14" pressbook w/three folding pages that unfolds to 14x33". For 1951 film distributed by Lippert Pictures Inc. and starring George Reeves as Superman and Phyllis Coates as Lois Lane. The motion picture is the first theatrical feature film based on the DC Comics character Superman (two live-action Superman film serials starring Kirk Alyn had already been shown in cinemas, though in a serial format). Pressbook was released by Lippert Pictures Inc. for the film's original 1952 release and bears "Profit With Lippert" slogan on front. Interior has extensive ad mat and promotional newspaper images/text/articles and film cast/synopsis. Photo images of Superman and title villains, the Mole Men scattered throughout. Pressbook has lt. handling wear w/1.5" split at bottom. VF.
