27x41" one-sheet poster for the original release of the 1952 Columbia movie serial starring "Superman" actor Kirk Alyn and which was based on the comic book "Blackhawk" published at the time by Quality Comics. Poster is for Chapter 14, "Blackhawk's Wild Ride" and has inset bluetone photo image from film showing Alyn from the back, having just landed a parachute jump. Poster features great image of Alyn and John Crawford in cockpit at top, w/image of female co-star Carol Forman and images of scientist shooting machine at plane as well as burning plane taking up rest of poster design. Folded as issued, poster has come creasing along fold lines and pinholes/tape at each corner w/tape reinforcements (on back) to small tears at fold crease intersections. Poster has all over scattered pinholes, but these blend well and are not too distracting. If matted and framed, would display VF.
