Lot of three signed 8x10" photos, each signed in blue felt tip pen by Kirk Alyn, the actor who portrayed Superman in the 1948 serial of the same name and its 1950 sequel "Atom Man Vs. Superman." Alyn is shown in full Superman costume in all three, each in different pose/scene. Each photo was signed to one-time DC Comics employees, including two past presidents (Paul Levitz and Jenette Kahn) and a former publicist "Mary." Inscriptions include "Great Krypton!" and "Up Up And Away" and each has been signed "'Superman' Kirk Alyn." Photos have some scattered lt. handling wear and are Fine-VF overall. While signed Kirk photos are by no means scarce, a trio such as this and so closely associated w/the company/character that made him famous is unique. Comes with Hake's COA.
