4" tall solid cast metal that has been nickel/chrome-plated and has painted features. 1934 by "Desmo" (but unmarked as such), who also produced a larger and equally rare hood ornament featuring both Mickey and Minnie Mouse (both are featured on page 434 of Hake's Disney Guide, second edition). Superb and expressive pose of Minnie w/her arms/hands raised in excitement, wide open mouth, tail curled upward behind her. Although the paint scheme is different than most (featuring Minnie w/red face), we believe this is as factory-produced. Paint shows scattered wear, w/flakes off on most of tail, fingers and ears (ears and tail have about 20% remaining), w/scattered flaking to rest of figure. Face shows moderate paint wear, w/40% remaining. Some of the exposed metal has tarnished w/age. Original hardware attached at bottom. Fine overall. First we've offered in our 47 years.
