Item Description
Mickey Mouse has stuffed velveteen body/tail w/felt ears, oilcloth eyes, satin hands and mother-of-pearl buttons on corduroy pants and stands 18.5" tall. This is largest of three sizes produced for sale by Charlotte Clark during the 1930s. Mostly missing string whiskers and doll has .5" stitching repair under one arm. One finger of each hand has fraying to tip. Tip of nose has lt. wear and doll has all over even aging. Two 1/8" small holes to right ear. Doll stills stands for a Fine display. Comes w/12.5" tall stuffed velveteen Pluto doll w/velveteen ears, tail and nose. Oilcloth eyes on felt backing and oilcloth collar w/metal rivets. 1930s. Collar shows some wear. Right side has 2" area of stitching repair at shoulder and tail is almost separated at base w/repair. Some scattered insect damage to white felt bkgs. of eyes, but doll stands for display. VG/Fine. From the Maurice Sendak Collection and comes with COA.
