Lot of four concert posters, all from the 1970s and for three concerts that took place at the Warner Theatre and one that took place at the Washington Coliseum. Posters typically measure 22x35". Each poster was printed by Globe Posters in "boxing style" popular in the 1950s and 1960s. All concerts were "Alan Lee Presents" events and shows/performers include - "Alan Lee Of WPFW Presents" and featured Etta James, The Skyliners, Sonny Til & The Orioles and Little Sonny Warner. James, The Skyliners and Til are all pictured. Tape at corners w/some even lt. aging. Lower right corner has 1.5" tear and top center has 1" tear and some scattered edge wear w/faint moisture stains at upper left edge. Fine. "A Summertime Oldies Concert" featured Junior Walker and The All-Stars, Arlene Smith and The Chantels, The Teenagers and Willie Winfield and The Harptones. Walker and Smith/Chantels are pictured. Tape at lower left/upper right and top center w/moderate dust soiling/aging and handling wear. Top left has two small punctures. VG/Fine. "D.C.'s Greatest Oldies Concert" benefit concert for The National Black Veterans Organization featured Mary Wells, Bo Diddley, The Five Keyes, The Vibrations, The Clovers, The Jewels and The Velons. Wells, Diddley, The Five Keyes, The Vibrations and The Clovers are all pictured. Masking tape at corners w/two strips of aged tape along left edge. Lower left has faint moisture stain, but if matted, poster would display Exc. w/bold colors. Last poster is for "The Battle Of The Groups" concert that featured Hank Ballard and The Midnighters, Jeanette Baby Washington, The Fabulous Flamingos, The Dubs, The Rainbows and The Velons. All but The Rainbows and The Velons are pictured. Masking tape at three corners w/tape staining at bottom left. Margin wear includes two .5" tears. Scattered dust soiling. Fine overall.
