Item Description
During the early days of Beatlemania, rock and roll radio disc jockey Murray The "K" (Murray Kaufman) frequently referred to himself as the fifth Beatle. Lot includes original mailing envelope w/"Murray The 'K' International Fan Club" return address and Oct. 22, 1965 postmark that has been roughly opened and just comes along. Also included are 8.5x11" typed letter dated Oct. 22, 1965 w/"Murray The 'K' International Fan Club" letterhead. Letter mentions Murray The "K" performance and gives info on how to get tickets. Letter is VF/Exc. Also includes flyer for upcoming Murray The "K" Christmas/Holiday concert and another flyer for The Righteous Brothers Nov. 5, 1965 concert. All are Exc. Last item is 6x9" photo postcard from 1964 featuring Murray The "K" seated amongst The Beatles, w/their facsimile signatures. Postcard has handwritten name/address on back and was mailed. As such, postcard shows moderate handling wear and is Fine.
