Item Description
25.75x31.75" wood frame w/Plexiglas over archival mat reveals original art w/15.25x21.25" India ink and watercolor image area in six panels. Published in "Mad" magazine #237 in March, 1983. Art features treasure hunter diving w/scuba gear thinking he's found buried treasure and telling friends. They dive down to ocean floor to begin digging, but four barrels marked "Atomic Waste" are just below surface. Lower right corner has been signed in ink by Jack Davis. Comes w/4x6" color photo of the artist in his studio holding this original. Bottom margin has editorial notes, o/w image area is bright and NM. Framed and ready for display.
